Q: How do you determine the value of my vehicle?

A: We use a wide variety of factors when determining the value of your vehicle. Current and recent retail and wholesale transactions in our market area are taken into account. We also estimate the repairs we will have to make to your vehicle before we can sell it. Items such as brakes, tires, and rotors are inspected. We look for body damage, scratches, and interior stains. We do run vehicle history reports on every vehicle we appraise. If your vehicle was in an accident it may affect its’ value.

Q: If I agree to sell you my car, how quickly will I get a check?

A: This question has a couple different answers. Do you own your vehicle outright and have your title? If yes, then you will have a check within a couple business days (sometimes faster). Do you still have an existing balance on your loan/lease? If yes, we need to verify the payoff amount with the bank you are financed or leased with before we can release any funds. This can add a couple days to the process depending on what day of the week we appraise your vehicle and what time of day. Most banks are not available to confirm this information in the evening.
